complete Writer Stores Class 3...
Well done to the following
cadets who this weekend along with PO Saycell and
TI Amos attended the Writer Stores training course.
Well done to Andrew Taylor, Charlotte Saycell,

enough to assist in the Ships Admin Office.

were promoted to Able Cadet
Cadet Chris Taylor was promoted
to Ordinary Cadet (but
still needs a haircut!)

and Jack Jansen were promoted
to Cadet.

Forresters Call
Pub in Ashton under Lyne sponsors the unit...
 Each
year During December the Forresters call
pub raises money for the local community to give
to a worthwile Charity in the area. This year
the unit was chosen. The unit was looking for
funds to replace its expedition training equipment
such as tents, galley tent and camping equipment.
We were hoping that the pub could raise the funds
we needed around £250 so the equipment could
be updated before the first annual camp at Abersoch
in Wales this coming easter.
We were not disapointed, thanks to efforts of
Alex Schofield at the Forresters Call
and her patrons the managed to raise a whopping
£415, which means that
we wont have to compromise on quality and can
get the exact equiment we need.
The unit would like to thank Alex and the customers
of the Forresters Call, their support is very
greatly appreciated.
