The officers, uniformed staff and Instructors at Tameside Sea Cadets are all dedicated volunteers who give up their spare time and holidays to lead, teach and assist our cadets in all aspects of their sea cadet life. The staff have varying interests and qualifications which helps us give the cadets a wider spread of training.

The cadets at Tameside unit are lucky as the staff ensure that there are always plenty of regular activities going on, in addition to regular training nights on Tuesday and Thursday we swim on Mondays, train on the Window Ladder on Wednesday or Thursdays and more often than not go boating (Power, Sail and Canoe) on Sundays.
