Tameside Sea Cadets - Training Ship Quantock
based in Ashton Under Lyne, the cadets have been around since the 1940's and in its curent location since 1978. The unit Boasts a water side position with excellent training facilities with accomodation.

Tameside Sea Cadets are one of the top five units in the country and have a dedicated group of volunteer adults who ensure our cadets get the best training possible.

All our staff are vetted so you can rest assured that the young adults in our care are in good hands and will be taught valuable lessons that will assist them in whatever they might do later in life.

Whether you’ve got previous experience dealing with young people or not - we just need willing volunteers who want to be part of the team and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing Cadets develop and mature.

It couldnt be simpler
Come down to the unit on any parade night (Tuesday or Thursday) between 7.15 & 9.15pm and you are on the way to becoming a cadet.
